Rowe Industries can retrofit your existing apparatus with CAFS. We have several different sized systems available. Each one is custom made to fit your specific vehicle. Units as small as 1" up to multiple 1 1/2" discharges available. Recriprocal compressors,Rotary compressors,stored energy, PTO compressors, or VMAC underhood air compressors are available.

How do I know if we can retrofit CAFS to my truck? If you are wanting a PTO compressor give us a call(870-777-9688 talk to Tim) with the Make, Model# and the serial # on the transmission, Engine make, model,Horse Power if available and the pump performance tag info.
We are going to by a new Pumper and plan to put CAFS on it later when we have the money, what do we need to do to make sure a retrofit will work on our truck? Make sure your transmission has a PTO provision on it. Do not spec your truck with anything on the PTO such as a genarator. On the late model trucks you can't move the exhaust so you are only able to use one side.
What do we need to look for when buying a compressed air foam system? Do your home work!
Not all compressed air foam systems are created equal.
Do not depend on the TALL TAILS you here from people about how little water they used on a fire or how quick they put it out. Yes it may be true what happened, but a person needs to remember not every situation is the same and its the water that puts the fire out.
Get a list of customers and talk with them.
Ask about warranty and service.
Ask about training.
Set up a demo and ask questions about what is different about there compressed air foam system compared to the other systems on the market.
Ask the salesman to show you how to operate the system and go through the steps yourself from starting the truck to spraying foam.
What about dangerous slug flow? Our system eliminates slug flow.
Do I have to take a 4 Hr. maintenance class? The only maintance required is checking your compressor oil
Does the Equalizer ( balancing device) have moving parts? There is no springs or moving parts to break or wearout.
What is the warranty on the Equalizer CAFS? Lifetime on the Equalizer, Parts and labor 1 Yr, Lifetime on the manufactures warranty on compressor www.vanair.com/contents/supplements/warranty1128.pdf
What operating pressure should we run at? The Equalizer does not care what the water pressure and air pressure is as long as you have pressure you will always have perfect foam.
Do you have to flush out the system with each use? The Equalizer does not need or require flushing
What is the minimum hose lenght required? No minimum hose lenght requirements.The Equalizer is mixing the air and solution water prior to discharge not scrubing in the hose.
If we had three 1.5" CAFS discharges and was running them at the same time, can we run one line dry one line medium dry and the another line wet at the same time? Yes, each line can be adjusted from wet to dry without affecting the other discharges.
Is there a way to eleminate nozzle reaction when you first open the CAFS nozzle that has built up in the line? We do not always have a lot of help at the scene and would like something a little more user friendly. Yes, we have the Line Tamer that elemnates that problem.
Sounds to good to be true? Its not, we have eliminated the problems associated with CAFS
